au revoir, funny face

For this to really have an impact, I'm going to need to buy about 100 more Eiffel Tower keychains.

We went out on Saturday night and bought 22 Eiffel Tower keychains direct from the source (Bir Hakeim metro station).  All for only 3€!  We are definitely going back to buy at least 100 more.  I can just imagine our tree next year, all decked out with little Eiffel Towers!

It says a lot about how cold it was that night and how long we have been here in Paris that we did not even leave the metro station to take a peek at the Eiffel Tower.  We actually just bought the keychains from a vendor in the station and jumped right back on our train.  I'm sure it looks really pretty in the snow.  We'll probably get to see it again tomorrow night when my cousin Nicole arrives from Seattle!

Before we went out to buy the keychains, we paid a visit to the Chateau de Vincennes, which is at the end of Line 1 on the Metro.  It was cold and very spooky.  We toured the chapel and the dungeon.

After the Chateau and keychains, we went to the Champs Elysées to see "Megamind" and it was snowing!  Paris in the snow is extremely exciting and beautiful!

See Gaius' face?  You can click the picture to enlarge.  It drives me crazy when he poses for pictures this way.  In fact, he told me today that his Christmas gift to me this year is that he'll stop making that funny face when I take his picture.  Sweet!

It sounds silly I know.  How often can he actually make that face?  Quite a lot, actually.  Seriously, look at all of the pictures he has ruined!

I'll stop here.  Well, one more.  This is the last picture I took of Gaius today.  And, according to him, it will be the last one he takes with this stupid face.
au revoir, funny face!
à bientôt!

I think it's a boy thing! All of my nephews when they the same age did the same exact thing! It will give you plenty of joy when you get to share them with future girlfriends! I love the snow pictures and of course all the key chains! Those were always the best souvenirs! I will definitely pick some up when we visit in January. Merry Christmas. Love you lots. GAB

These are some of the pictures you will remember the most. Just think they are going around the world! At least Gaius is making a face, my son left a fingerprint on his pictures, really a middle finger. Stay warm!

Reading this post as a San Pablo family event gave us such pleasure to see how funny Gaius can look. My sides hurt from lauging. Watch out, Gaius, your "Lapacion" funny lips might become permanent! This is your best blog yet, Heather.
Thank you. Hug Gaius for me.
